Sep 5, 2017 | Katie Burkhart

Joy Taylor, Co-Founder and CEO of Tayganpoint Consulting Group, will receive the prestigious Iris Newman Award at The Intersection, which is presented by the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). AWE is the Greater Philadelphia region’s go-to resource for women high-growth founders and the organizations who support them. Since 2002, AWE has presented the Iris Newman Award annually to a woman who exhibits a trailblazing spirit, inspiring leadership, and support for women in the entrepreneurial community.

Joy has over twenty years of cross-functional experience in Lean Sigma, team facilitation, program management, project leadership, and communications and change management. She has a proven ability to manage complex, global programs and initiatives, drive process and productivity improvement efforts and lead change in a fast-paced environment. In true high-growth spirit, Joy’s company is also among the fastest growing companies in America on the Inc. 5000 list.

All of her recent projects feature her leading major strategic initiatives on a global scale. She also won SmartCEO Magazine’s Brava! Award in 2014, as well as both Enterprising Women of the Year and Leading Women Entrepreneur in 2015. We are proud that winning the Iris Newman Award will be included alongside this stellar array of achievements.

The Intersection brings together AWE’s entire, expansive network to identify new founders with promise, connect founders who’ve already achieved, and recognize the community that supports both of their efforts to grow. It is the only opportunity to connect with AWE’s dynamic network face to face and to celebrate women’s high-growth entrepreneurship. The Intersection will be on Monday, November 6, 2017, from 5:00-7:30pm at Convene at the Cira Center.
