Role: Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator
Reports to: Senior Director, Marketing and Public Relations
Location: Washington Crossing, PA
Position Type Full-time, Monday-Friday

Summary/Overview

The primary role of the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator to enable all Sales, Marketing, Advertising, and Communications activities. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong knowledge of web and social media. Represents themselves as a professional consultant with the firm, and maintain accountability for delivering high quality work, on time, on budget and often with limited supervision.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with the development and execution of TPCG’s Strategic and Tactical Plans
  • Research, identify and manage the application process for Company Awards, Speaking Engagements and Professional Organization Engagement
  • Coordinate all facets of Conference Sponsorship and attendance, including registration, internal and external communication, logistics planning, materials development, collateral, travel, shipping and receiving, social media planning
  • Working closely with both internal and external teams, execute regular updates to the TPCG Website to maintain fresh, timely and relevant content while supporting broader SEO and SEM objectives
  • Manage TPCG’s Social Media Presence on LinkedIn and Twitter to maintain a consistent cadence of posts while working to expand TPCG’s reach into new digital channels as appropriate
  • Develop ideas for unique Social Media Campaigns with the intent to educate and engage target audiences online
  • Coordinate all facets of Hosted Client and Prospect Events, Webinars and Roundtables, including Venue Selection, Email and Social Promotion, Registration, Culinary, A/V, Collateral and Presentation Materials, and On-Site Event Support
  • Manage TPCG’s Customer Relationship Database (CRM) through content updates and additions, queries, campaign management, reporting
  • Working closely with internal and external teams, assist with the Creation and Distribution of Communications and Thought Leadership, through including published articles and corporate announcements
  • Assist Consulting Team members with new business development activities, including research of new targets and creation of sales presentation materials as requested
  • Engage professional network and existing business relationships to promote TPCG content and increase brand awareness
  • Contribute to a positive work environment that empowers others, encourages and promotes professional development

Qualifications

  • Knowledge & Competencies
    • Evolving Marketing, Public Relations and Social Media skills, as demonstrated through a combination of employment and academic experience
      • Experience: Several years in a Sales, Marketing, Advertising, or Corporate Communication role
      • Education: undergraduate degree relevant to Marketing, Public Relations, or Corporate Communications
    • Skills & Abilities
      • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to reprioritize tasks and projects on-the-fly
      • Critical and analytical thinking ability, research skills, and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to identify problems and assist with providing recommendations that lead to constructive solutions and outcomes
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
      • Extensive PowerPoint knowledge and design skills, a plus
      • Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), a plus
      • Ability to work in both structured and ambiguous environments
      • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, both in large and small settings
      • Flexible and adaptable
      • Availability to work a varied schedule to meet company and client needs
      • Willingness to travel domestically as needed (< 5%)
