John Cassimatis
John Cassimatis, President and co-founder, has more than 25 years experience advising and working with some of the world’s leading corporations across a number of industries. His specific areas of expertise include strategy formulation and implementation, business process improvement, organizational re-design, change management, and information technology strategy and effectiveness. John has deep functional experience in Finance, Information Technology, and Shared Services, as well experience in R&D, Manufacturing and Operations, Marketing and Sales, and Human Resources.
John has led numerous initiatives creating shared service structures for IT and Finance organizations at global corporations. Combining his experience in finance and executive management, John helps senior business leaders develop major organizational transformation strategies, plans, and processes to achieve their strategic goals. An exceptional facilitator, John is experienced working with groups both large and small in helping them better execute their strategies, align their organizations for more effective operations, and better utilize their resources.
In 2005, Cassimatis founded and led VantagePoint Consulting Group, a management consulting firm based in New Jersey. Prior to starting VantagePoint, John led the U.S. Business Transformation Practice for First Consulting Group’s Healthcare and Life Sciences consultancy. John began his career at Arthur Andersen and subsequently held leadership positions at Kepner-Tregoe and Ernst & Young’s Performance Improvement Practice in New York. John has a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Accounting from Lehigh University.
John has presented to many professional associations, including the Information Technology Association, the Drug and Information Association (DIA), the International Productivity and Quality Council, and the Institute of Management Accounting (IMA). He frequently speaks at client conferences. John is very active in community organizations, and has volunteered consulting services to numerous non-profits. He is the founding President of the Hillsborough Education Foundation and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees for Millhill Child and Development Center in Trenton, N.J.
Joy E. Taylor
Joy E. Taylor, CEO and co-founder, has 20 years of experience in strategic consulting, team facilitation, program and project management, sales, finance, mergers & acquisitions, human resources and operational excellence.
A certified Master Black Belt and certified Black Belt, Joy specializes in process improvement implementation, process design and management, Six Sigma instruction, team facilitation, leadership development, project management; strategic planning and implementation as well as change management.
Joy is known for her ability to lead large strategic business transformation programs, and enterprise wide change management initiatives. She is experienced in managing complex programs leveraging Six Sigma and program management methodologies to drive measurable net income results.
Joy combines her experience in project management and consulting to assist senior executives in creating and executing major organizational transformation strategies to achieve their strategic goals. She has worked with clients across a wide range of industries including life sciences, cellular service, technology, travel/tourism, business transformation/outsourcing, media entertainment, space satellite industry, healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services, and professional sports. Joy has worked with companies across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
In 2005, Joy founded and led Taygan Consulting, a WBENC certified woman owned management consulting firm based in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Prior to starting Taygan Consulting, Joy held leadership positions at IBM Business Consulting Services and General Electric American Communications. Joy earned her certification as a Black Belt and Master Black Belt during her tenure at GE Capital, she has extensive experience in the implementation of Six Sigma, having served as a project team leader, coach, senior team facilitator and instructor. In addition, Joy has an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in Communication Studies and Public Speaking. Joy lives in Pennsylvania with her husband Tony, and their four children, Amanda, Anthony, Taylor and Egan.
